All new iPhone 16 series are now live. Apple at their latest event “It’s Glowup time” on September 9th made iPhone 16 series official. Apart from that they also launched new AirPods and Apple watch. Apple announces three variants iPhone 16, 16 Plus, and 16 Pro entirely focusing on serving the purpose of content production. There’s not much change in design compared to the previous iPhone 15 series. All three models will feature Apple Intelligence.
iPhone 16 Prices and the differences to other countries.
The new iPhone 16 series will start from $799/ Rs 80,000 (listed on Flipkart) for the base variant of 128GB. The 256GB variant is priced at $899/Rs 90,000. However, the plus variant will start from Rs 89,999 for the 128 GB and Rs 99,999 for the 256 GB variant.
Last but not least the Pro Variant is priced at Rs 1,19,900 for 128 GB, Rs 129,900 for 256 GB, Rs 149,900 for 512 GB, and Rs 169,900 for 1TB variant.
Price comparison between different countries.

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus: Specs and Upgrades.
Starting with body and dimension, there are no so such differences anyone could see as to its predecessor. The previous three generations almost look identical, However, apart from the new camera control button and under-the-hood changes.
Built and Durability: New Ceramic Sheild Glass.
Both phones retain the same design, dimension, and weight. To be Specific its dimensions are 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and 170g in weight. The Plus variant is 160.9 x 77.8 x 7.8 mm and 199g in weight. In front, you will see a more durable glass which Apple calls the “New generation of ceramic shield“. Available in 5 new colors including the new white color.
Ceramic shield was introduced with the iPhone 12 lineup. This glass is made by Corning the same company which manufactures Gorilla Glass. They made this glass exclusively for Apple by fusing ceramic nanocrystals on top of the glass. It makes it more resistant to bumps and scratches. Compared to its competition iPhone 16 still lacks matt coating like the S24 ultra to avoid reflection.
Design of the new iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
It’s very rare to see any design changes in iPhones. Every year Apple design team just copy-pastes with some minor displacement in the camera position. iPhone 16 and 16 Plus feature a vertically set camera housing like the iPhone 11. Why vertical? Well with a diagonal setup, they won’t support the spatial video recording however, with the vertical alignment they could capture a much wider area merging videos of both lenses. In Front, they will same as the iPhone 15 because of no changes in the size of Dynamic Island.
Camera and Performances and other upgrades.
New 48MP Camera with Fusion Coating
iPhones are always known for their cameras and performances. speaking of which Apple like every year claims the fastest performance and advanced camera to date in any iPhone ever. This time they will feature a new 48MP image sensor with bigger individual pixels which is capable of taking more enhanced HDR shots due to their new fusion lenses (Anti-reflective). The rear camera is capable of recording 4K@24/25/30/60fps, 1080p@25/30/60/120/240fps, with HDR & Dolby Vision support in 60fps.
New Processor with Apple Intelligence and major changes
Moving on to the performance, all iPhone 16 models will have Apple’s new A18 Chip paired with 8GB RAM. This chip is based on 3nm architecture which will bring more efficiency and performance to the table. Also includes a 5-core GPU which makes the iPhone 16 capable of handling AAA games and better ray tracing.
Along with a good GPU, it has a more powerful NPU for in-device AI. The logicboard of all the iPhones has also been redesigned. This new design will sustain more performance and will be thermally efficient.
iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max: New Specs, features, and Upgrades.
Enough talking about non-pro models. Talking about the Pro models they have always been the main highlights of any Apple event. iPhone 16 pro and pro max will feature a larger 6.3 and 6,9 inches display. Design wise Pro series at the front has the thinnest bezels on any smartphone. Not just any other iPhone but on any smartphone to date. Available in 4 different colors.

Performance: New A18 Pro with a new cooling chamber
Under the hood, the Pro series has a lot to offer. Starting with Apple’s New A18 Pro chip. This chip is made on a 3nm 2nd generation node by TSMC with fast NVMe type memory. iPhone 16 Pro series will house a new Vapour Cooling chamber and a new Graphite-clad aluminum structure for better separation of heat and thermal management.
Cameras
For the cameras, both the models get new 48MP ultrawide with 48MP for macro photography and feature a new 5X optical tetra-prism zoom. These all-new upgrades made it capable of recording 4K@24/25/30/60/100/(new)120fps, 1080p@25/30/60/120/240fps, Dolby Vision 10-bit HDR, (up to 60fps). This time apart from ProRes there’s new 3D (spatial) video/audio, stereo sound rec.
For better audio recording pro series has new four studio mics that can do real-time noise cancellation, mute any speakers, zoom audio, and everything that is required by content creators.
