Just a couple of months before at Google I/O 2022, Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were officially teased. Google gave a glimpse of the handset about looks and aesthetics.  Now Google has made it official. Google has just released their new Smartphones into the market. Although, Like the previous year, Google Pixel 6 stood out of the line and was a great-looking phone in the market. The company is going to adopt a similar design for its next upcoming handset with some refinement at the back. The phone will look similar from the front. At the rear, there will be an aluminum frame on the back to cover the camera vizor. Three Cameras for the Pro version and two cameras for Pixel 7.  Google has launched the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro along with the Pixel Watch at their Event in New York. Here are all the things we know so far about the devices and what you could expect.

Google Pixel 7 And 7 Pro: Design.

Both handsets do not have any significant change from last year. From the front, both look similar with a single punch hole cut out. However the Pixel 7 Pro has curved edges. This time curved edges aren’t sharp as they are last year. Talking about Pixel 7, It has slimmer bezels than last year. There will be an aluminum frame in Pixel 7 but not like the polished one that we are going to see in the Pixel 7 Pro. And with a glass back phone will have a shiny appearance and scratch magnet too. There will be a transparent cover in the box for saving your phone from scratches.

However Pixel 7 Pro has three camera cutouts at the back one is a cylinder that contains two cameras and one is circular with a single camera. All the cameras are placed horizontally forming an “i” shape at the back. The camera bump will be slightly bigger than the last time. Both the devices got IP68 Water resistant certification.

Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro: Camera Upgrades.

Cameras were always been the major highlights of Pixel Devices. Google always proves how image processing can work like magic in any decent hardware. Pixel cameras give better competition to the top tier segment like iPhones and Samsung S series Smartphones. The Pro version has a main 50MP wide-angle lens, 48MP Telephoto, and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens. The telephoto is upgraded to 5x Optical Zoom. Moving on to the other one, The handset will feature a dual camera 50 MP main wide-angle lens and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens. Both handsets will have a 10.8 MP selfie camera at the front.

New Tensor G2 Processor.

From Google Pixel 6 series last year. Google has moved on from Qualcomm to make its custom silicon. Last time they came up with the Tensor processor with the Pixel 6 series. This was a collaboration with Samsung based on the 5nm process. Now Tensor G2 will be a successor of the Tensor. Both handsets are powered by New Tensor G2 Processor.  This processor was developed in the collaboration with Samsung. Google hasn’t revealed as much detail about the processor. According to a Bangladesh retailer who leaks the Geekbech and Antutu score. However, scores aren’t competitive with Qualcomm and Apple Silicon with 80k Antutu scores Tensor G2 will give a similar performance to Snapdragon 888+.

Prices of the handset also leaked for the US market. Pixel 7 and 7 Pro might cost $599 and $899. However, finally, Google is set to launch these devices in the Indian Market. In India, the Pixel 7 Pro will cost Rs 69,999 including a bank offer on Flipkart and the non-Pro variant will cost Rs 49,999.
