The year’s biggest tech show is about to kick off next week. While CES is around the corner, let’s take a look at some of the exciting things that are about to happen this year. This time the show will take place in Los Angeles and top CEOs from places like Silicon Valley Beijing and many more will be there. Like every time the show will take place from the second week starting 7 January and will continue till 14th January.
As per CEO of CES Gary Shapiro the attendance this time will go up to 140 thousand. The way AI has taken over 2024 like a storm it is obvious that this time CES will all be about AI, VR glasses, and many more consumers. All these things will show a glimpse of the upcoming tech of the year 2025. Starting with Intel, AMD, and Nvidia.
What to Expect from Nvidia AMD and Intel in CES 2025.
Nvidia’s new RTX 5000 series announcement and prices.
All three companies are coming with their new GPU series and CPU series. Talking about GPUs, Nvidia will showcase its new RTX 5000 series lineup which surely include their flagship 5090 and 5080 GPUs. But no one considers the specs and performance more than their prices.
Speaking of prices what rumor suggests will sum it up to be bad news for most of the people looking for an upgrade this year. Some suggest the RTX 5080 could cost as much as $1,600 the same price as the RTX 4090 — while the RTX 5090 could break the $2,000 limit. It’s hard to say, don’t suspect Nvidia will price a gaming graphics card above $2,000. If the RTX 5090 ends up being as expensive as rumors suggest, it’ll likely be more toward focusing on AI.
What to expect from Intel in CES 2025.
Nvidia and AMD are the big newsmakers at CES 2025. Intel is also ready for its run-up in Ces 2025 to turn the tides around, as they had a pretty bad record in the previous year, 2024. Intel will start its campaign at CES on January 6th at 8:30 AM. They will live stream their campaign on their website and YouTube, which is what it’s called, and have an Intel-driven keynote.
Let’s begin with the product at their keynote they will introduce their new graphics card B570 intel already announced this GPU as a part of our battle mage lineup. Also, mention in their announcement that this $219 GPU will released on January 16th. Intel will launch their Arrow Lake H and HX Chips at the show, in addition to their desktop site CPUs. It also means we could see more high-end gaming laptops with more cores and performance with higher clock speeds.
AMD at CES 2025.
AMD schedules their show right after Intel wraps it up at 11:00 AM on January 6th. Out of all the announcements, one will take center stage: the RDNA 4 graphics card. There have been multiple rumors in the market about AMD’s next GPUs for a while now. With the year of speculation that AMD will skip the flagship battle with Nvidia and not go toe to toe this time, their GPU will be more budget-friendly and midrange.
There’s not so much confirmation about all the cards but one of them will be RX 9070 XT which has seen several leaks of performance and benchmarks. People over the Internet claim that this card is as fast as RTX 4080 while other says it is 5% slower and closer to the performance of RX 7900 XT. This GPU will cost around $600 to $650. Last but not least probably the only GPU we get from AMD as other cards are set to arrive sometime in March.
Conclusion
All three teams are going all in. This time it is all about the mid-range segment. So this is it, if you are the one looking for a budget-friendly upgrade this is your time. Make sure to subscribe as we cover all the interesting things that will happen around CES 2025.
