Acer annouces two new Chromebook Spin 2-in-1 models

The latest Chromebook additions in Acer’s fleet are the Spin 511 and Spin 512. Both are 2-in-1 convertibles that are targeted at the education market though you will be able to pick them up for personal use as well. Both new laptops are powered by Intel chipsets, come with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity offer 8GB RAM and up to 64GB eMMC storage.

The Spin 511 packs an 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS LCD with HD resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Spin 512 ups the size to 12” and offers HD+ resolution in a 3:2 aspect ratio. Both new Chromebooks are MIL-STD 810H certified to withstand daily wear and tear…
