The Red Magic 6 Series is Nubia’s next entry in the world of gaming phones, and we’ve already seen the official teaser and certification list detailing at least two phones. Today, we’ll take a look at what looks like the Tencent Games edition of Red Magic 6.
This design is very different from the horizontally placed quad-camera setup and the Red Magic 5S, which has an X-shaped element that is supposed to have a built-in cooling fan. Below is the visible Red Magic logo, and in the centre is the Tencent Games brand.
Speaking of Tencent, nubia GM Ni Fei shared photos with a Weibo account outside the Tencent building in Shenzhen, China. This confirms that the series has the Tencent Games edition. So far, the Red Magic 6 Series has at least two versions, the Pro model and the vanilla model.
The Pro model has a 4,500mAh battery with a 120W charge, and the vanilla variant offers a 66W charge. Both new phones should come with a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a high refresh screen.
