On August 13th, Google launched a new Pixel lineup and other exciting products. Unlike last year, Google launched their new phones two months earlier this year. The Pixel 8 series was launched in October. Pixel 8 is undoubtedly the best phone to go for under 60,000 for the best camera and software experience. Regarding all the announcements made in the Made By Google Event, the Pixel 9 series looks more promising with more software magic and computational photography. Pixel 9 Prices and Availability.
All models of the Pixel 9 series and Pixel Buds 2 Pro will be available to purchase in 32 Countries. Eight new countries include Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Malaysia.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold was originally only available in Germany, Japan, the UK, and the USA. This year it is coming to 15 new countries for a total of 19.
Pixel 9 comes in 12GB RAM only while Pixel 9/Pro/Fold comes in 16GB RAM only. India gets a 256GB storage model only.

Camera Upgrades
The new Handsets from Google will have a more advanced camera than their predecessor. Google is now going with new sensors from rear to back in all their Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. New Ultra Sonic Fingerprint Sensor.
Apart from not-so-major camera changes. Google seems serious about its device security. Google going all in introducing and introducing a new ultrasonic sensor fingerprint sensor (Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic Gen 2 (QFS4008). The same one is in the Samsung S24 Ultra. It will be available in all Pixel 9 series models. this new fingerprint sensor will be more secure and much faster than the optical sensor. For those who wondering what is it? Well, Optical sensors use quite a long process to authenticate user fingerprints involving taking optical images on every scan and processing. However, if talk about ultrasonics they are much faster than optical, which uses sound waves to measure the depth of the user’s fingerprint to unlock it.
Pixel 9: Performance Upgrades And AI Capabilities.
The new Tensor G4
All Pixel 9 models will have a new Tensor G4 chip inside, an upgraded version of the Tensor G3 of the Pixel 8 series. Like every time, as per the claims, the Tensor G4 would not get a huge upgrade from its predecessor. Well in the past Google has never been the player who looked for maxed-out performance. Looks like they will continue the same thing this year with more AI and software optimization rather than going all in performance.
The New Tensor G4 will have the smallest upgrade ever seen in a Tensor lineup. The chip will include a high-performance 1x Cortex x4 core, 3x Cortex A720, and 4x Cortex A520.
Storage RAM and other specs.
The upper Pixel 9 Pro XL model will have a massive 16 GB of Samsung LPDDR5 memory. Why 16GB? Well, this time Google pixel devices will have their all AI capabilities built into them. They require a lot of processing, and for quicker and better processing they will require more memory, and 16 GB of it will be more than enough to handle all those AI features. For Storage, it will equip Samsung UFS and the base model will start with 256 gigs of storage. Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will support up to 45w of Fast Charging. 7 Android OS upgrades + 7yrs Security patches.

The new Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds 2, and Google TV.
Apart from the Google Pixel 9 Series. Google is set to announce the new successor of the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds. Design-wise, Pixel Buds Pro 2 has a more prominent grill on each earbud compared to the original Pixel Buds Pro, which is likely going to be used for ANC and Transparency modes. The charging case will be a bit bulky as well, likely due to the bigger battery. Google will also launch the sequel to the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) in 2020. It will called “Google TV Streamer.”
