6 grandma's gardening tips for growing beautiful flowers

It’s never too early (or too late!) To learn the basics of gardening. Having a hand is not always innate and many do not know how to start. The result: the plants died and the gardening apprentices were discouraged. And then, to maintain your garden, it is not a question of using the chemicals that the companies sell us. There are natural solutions for almost all garden tasks. To excel in the field of gardening, here are 6 tips from Grandma you must know for vibrant, organic gardening.

6 tips for growing beautiful flowers in your garden

  • Tip #1.
In winter and autumn, flowers should be watered in the morning. In summer and spring – in the evening.
  • Tip #2.
You need to spray flowers early in the morning or in the evening. Hot water is poured into the sprayer; when spraying it cools down.
  • Tip #3.
The secret of the bright and juicy color of the leaves is in spraying with the addition of camphor alcohol. Approximately 2-4 drops per liter of water.
  • Tip #4.
Put a layer of earth into a flower pot, put a fish head, again cover it with earth and plant a flower. Now, this may seem ridiculous, because there are so many different kinds of fertilizers. But, nevertheless, the fish head does its job. Checked.
  • Tip #5.
Topdressing of indoor plants. How many fertilizers and tips for their use exist! Grandma did that.

    • – She will wash the meat in a bowl, pour the water into the flowers.
    • – I fed the cacti with milk. Mix water and very little milk, but not much, otherwise, if there is an excess of milk, the earth may not smell very pleasant.
    • -During flowering, I fed the flower a couple of times with castor oil. For 1 liter of water, approximately 1 teaspoon of castor oil. Shake well and feed.
    • -In the winter I fed the flowers with sugar, I believed that the lack of light could be replaced with sweet water. For a glass of water, about 1-2 teaspoons of sugar.
  • Tip #6.
When transplanting flowering plants, it strongly compacted the soil. And for green plants, on the contrary, it made the earth very loose.
